The main working conditions of the marine plate heat exchanger on board include the cooling of the lubricating oil used by the main engine of the ship, which is called the lubricating oil cooler; There is also the cooling of the main generator, main engine and auxiliary engine on board, which is called the central cooler; Then it is seawater desalination; It is widely used in these conditions.


The structure of the plate heat exchanger for ships is the same as that of other heat exchanger equipment. On the thin sheet of corrosion-resistant metal such as stainless steel and titanium, the plate heat exchanger is flat pressed and shaped with a design ripple by a press, and it is sealed with a synthetic rubber sealing gasket around it, thus forming a "heat transfer plate". Suspend the required number of heat transfer plates above the guide rods and overlap them between the steel plate fixed frame and the moving frame to fix them with screws. High temperature fluid medium and low temperature fluid medium are separated by a flow path formed by alternating flow between plates to exchange heat.
